Tuesday after exiting the SF train at McArthur I received the following text:
"We were on the same damn train!"
And today I ran into my Spring 2006 Chaucer Reader. Twice, to and from. I also realized a girl in my Shakespeare class also commutes with me, and we often take the same train. I've always been interested in these kinds of run-in's, it connects me to some people more than others, but then again, something so trivial shouldn't be making or breaking relations, right? But oh, it does. I remember telling a girl from class that I commute and she gave this digusted look and apologized at my unfortunate life. I hope 20 years of commuting haunts her in the future!
When I wasn't conversing with Erin today, I'd play Klaxons "Gravity's Rainbow" on repeat. I'm addicted to the chorus, the singing of, "Come with me, we'll travel to infinite" is something that sounds so appealing to me right now.
Usually, all I want to do is listen to some fucking music and space out, yet probably think about the same things I always think about, before I have to try to pretend like I care about the other things I'm responsible for in my life, and then someone decides to stare me down or ask me to sign a damn petition.
