While on BART yesterday, I spent my entire ride from Concord to MacArthur listening to two ladies speak behind me. Their voices echoed through out the train, and I was interested in the young girl who kept talking to what seemed to be her good friends mother. By the sound of the sound of one of the ladies it was a younger girl, maybe, 25 years old. She mentioned her interview in the city, being a hairstylist, how she's single, and her younger sister who had to deal with their mother who was overcoming cancer.

I ended up sitting directly in front of them, so I never got to see their faces, which was a bit strange. I had the strongest desire to turn my head around and put a face to their voice. An image to their life stories that I had just overheard, but I realized that I liked my own constructed understanding of them, and wanted to keep in that way.
